RFCommand is a free public beta on the Microsoft Store. The Store installs it without any security warnings and keeps it up to date, so every fix reaches you by itself.

What "beta" means here

It means the application is complete and usable, and we are looking for the problems that only turn up on other computers, with other files, and against other servers and databases.

It does not mean it is a demo. Nothing is crippled, there is no licence key to enter, and everything described on this site is in the build.

It does mean you should keep backups, as you should with any tool that copies, moves and deletes your data. And it means that if something goes wrong, telling us about it genuinely helps.

System requirements

Operating system Windows 10 version 2004 (build 19041) or later, or Windows 11
Architecture 64-bit (x64)
Prerequisites None. Everything RFCommand needs ships inside it, so there is no runtime to install first
Internet Only needed for the sources that are themselves remote, such as FTP, cloud drives and database servers
Account None. RFCommand has no sign-in of its own
Before you install. RFCommand shows its End User Licence Agreement the first time you run it, and you have to accept it to continue. You can read it now, along with the two documents that go with it: the End User Licence Agreement, the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. One set covers all of Rational Forge, our websites and our applications alike, with a section for each.
